Res 058-2024 Purchase Falcon Complete Endpoint Detection and Response Solution 06/04/2024 Resolution No. 58-2024
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents
necessary to purchase the Falcon Complete Endpoint Detection and
Response solution from CDW Government LLC in the amount of
$196,822.13
WHEREAS, the IT Division will purchase the product now at a cost of $44,942.19
with budgeted hardware and software replacement funds; and,
WHEREAS, the remaining balance will be paid for in October of 2024 in the amount
of $151 ,879.94; and
WHEREAS, CDW Government LLC is a reseller for Crowdstrike and CDWG
Government LLC is on the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) purchasing
contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase the Falcon Complete Endpoint Detection and Response solution
from CDW Government LLC in the amount of$196,822.13.
