Ord 20-2024 Appropriation from Superior Health Plan to Support Healthy Cooking Classes Initiative 06/04/2024 Ordinance No. 20-2024
Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Public Health Education Account in an amount up to $3,000
received from Superior Health Plan to support the Healthy Cooking
Classes Initiative, and authorizing the City Manager to execute a
contract accepting the same
WHEREAS, the Health Department and Superior Health Plan desire to enter into
a contract for continued public health services; and,
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2023 —2024 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $3,000 for the Healthy
Cooking Classes Initiative and the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with
Superior Health Plan for the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District.
