RESOLUTION NO. _10-2013__
Resolution Approving The Programs And Expenditures Of The
Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation Board Of Directors To
Include Funding Up To $636,283 For Vernon College Parking Lot,
Kemp at the Forum, and Jenny to Jet Exhibition Projects
WHEREAS, TLG’.C §501.073(a) provides “The corporation's

authorizing unit will approve all programs and expenditures of a corporation and
annually review any financial statements of the corporation;” and,
WHEREAS, on or prior to this date, the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation
(4BSTC) approved the projects listed below as stated in its agenda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation’s approval and funding of the
following programs and expenditures, as described above and in said corporation’s
agenda, is approved:
Vernon College Wichita Falls Campus Parking Lot Project
, which will provide
for repaving of the Vernon College Wichita Falls Campus parking lots at 4105

Maplewood in an amount of up to .
Kemp at the Forum Renovation Project
, which will provide for renovations to
the Kemp at the Forum building at 2120 Speedway in an amount of up

to .
Jenny to Jet Exhibition at Municipal Airport Terminal Project
, which will
provide for the construction of a museum and exhibition facilities at the Municipal

Airport at 4000 Armstrong Drive in an amount of up to , contingent upon
matching funds being placed in trust with the City by the Museum of North Texas
History by March 1, 2014.
2. The current fiscal year budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation is
amended in accordance with the aforementioned expenditures.
3. The City Manager is authorized to all documents necessary to effectuate the
transfer and management of any funds described herein.
