The minutes of the last meeting, September 16, 1999, were read by Jean Hall, Secretary. A motion was made by James Nims to approve the minutes and seconded by Bill Niles. The minutes were approved as read by unanimous vote. r .. Presentations were made by representatives of non -profit organizations requesting funding from the 1999 -2000 FY budget. These organizations were Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre, Inc., Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra, Inc. Wichita County Heritage Society, Inc., Midwestern State University Department of Art, Arts Council, Wichita Falls Area, Wichita Falls Backdoor Players, Inc., Wichita Falls Area Fire & Police Museum, Midwestern State University Choral Department, Wichita Falls Community Messiah, Inc., Wichita Falls Railroad Museum, Inc., and The Greater Wichita Falls Alliance for the Performing Arts. Following the presentations, Lynn Hoggard moved that all of the applicants be considered for funding and James Nims seconded the motion. The motion carried by unanimous vote. Balloting followed with each Commission member filling out an individual ballot. These 16 ballots were then averaged by applicant to produce the following recommendation to the City Council for funding from the FY 1999 -2000 Budget: Organization Amount Recommended W.F.
