Items of Discussion:
Chairman Westen advised the letters addressing pending legislation have
been prepared as agreed. Penny Henderson advised that the bill addressing school zone
violations seems to have died during committee sessions. However, the bill regarding
defensive driving seems to be doing well at this point.
Trooper Joe Clement requested two agenda items for the next meeting. One
regarding Safety Patrol evaluations and one regarding a possible ordinance for loud music.
Prior to the next meeting, Trooper Clement will research existing statutes and regulations.
