The meeting of the Wichita Falls Arts Commission was called
to order at 11:45 a.m. by Chairman, John Vitek. The reading
of the minutes was heard. Dannie Russell gave a report of
the nominating committee nominating the following Arts
Commission officers to serve for the coming year:
John Vitek, Chairman
Heather Tedford, Vice-Chairman
Ann Funston, Secretary
A motion was made by Pat Grozier and seconded by Sharon
Roach to elect the above officers. The motion carried
unanimously.
Chairman Vitek next called on organizations that received
funding from the current (1990-91 FY) Budget to report on
their projects. Reports were made Kell House Museum,
Backdoor Theatre, W.F. Ballet Theatre, W.F. Symphony

Orchestra, W.F. Community Messiah, and W.F. Art Association,
M.S.U. Choral Dept. Art, Entertainment, & Culture, Inc. , a
new organization in Wichita Falls, discussed briefly its
plans for the future.
The meeting was adjourned at 12: 45 p.m.
