The meeting of the Wichita Falls Arts Commission was called to order at
12 : 05 p.m. in the Wichita Falls Activities Center by Carolyn Sanders,
Chairman. The Nominating Committee announced their nominations for Arts
Commission Officers for the Fiscal Year 1988/90 as:
Mrs. Carolyn Sanders, Chairman
Mrs. Betty Hansen, Vice-Chairman
Mr. Lynn Marshall, Secretary
A motion was made to re-elect these three officers and the motion was
passed by unanimous vote.
After a discussion of arts needs throughout the community, Heather Tedford
moved to change the ceiling amount requested per applicant from $10,500 to
a new ceiling of $12 ,500. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
Following a discussion concerning the Arts Commission as a compliment to
the BCI ' s efforts in generating income and visitors to Wichita Falls, the
meeting was adjourned at 12 : 40 p.m.
