OCTOBER 1 , 1981
The Wichita Falls Arts Commission met in special
session at noon on October 1, 1981, at the Activities Center.
The following people were there:

Chairman David ij;urray called the meeting to order at
12: 30 p.m. Jerry Estes moved that the minutes of the last meeting
. be approved as mailed . The motion passed unanimously .
Chairman Murray distributed ballots for the funding
vote . These listed the organizations which were approved for
funding at the last meeting, and the amount each requested . He
asked each member of the Commission to divide the total amount
available , 27, 000 , among these organizations . The average of the
votes for each grant is the amount the Commission will recommend
to the City Council for that grant .

Murray thanked the Screening Committee for facilitating
this effort . By common agreement, it was decided that the next
meeting will be held when the need arises .
Dorcas Chapman moved that the meeting adjourn.
