WICHITA FALLS ARTS COMMISSION MEETING
March 17 , 1981
The Wichita Falls Arts Commission met in regular
session at noon on March 17 , 1981 , at the Activities Center.
The following people were in attendance:
David Murray At-large
Madge Muehlberger At-large
Gwendolyn Jackson At-large
Dr. Jennie L. Hindman At-large
Jan Morrison At-large
Mary H. Wolverton Museum & Art Center
Bob Arnold Backdoor Theatre
John Hampton, Jr. City Council
Polly Cox Art Association
Don Burkman Activities Center
Jerry Estes Symphony
Pat Jones Heritage Society
Carolyn Sanders Ballet Theatre.
Chairman Jerry Estes called the meeting to order and
Mary H. Wolverton moved that the minutes of the February 24 ,
1981, meeting be approved as printed and mailed. The motion
was seconded and passed.
The Commission discussed the revision of policies and
procedures used by the Commission. A committee was appointed to
study and make recommendations to the Commission at the April 21,
1981, meeting. The Committee consists of David Murray, Chairman,
Dorcas Chapman, Troy Jensen and Mrs . Wolverton. Dr. Jennie L.
Hindman moved that the Commission vote on the committee 's recom-
mendations at the April meeting. The motion was seconded and
passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 1: 45 p.m.
