Arts Commission Minutes - 11/20/1979 MINUTES OF THE WICHITA FALLS ARTS COMMISSION NOVEMBER 20, 1979
The Wichita Falls Arts Commission held its monthly meeting on November 20, 1979
at 12 Noon at the Activities Center. The following people were in attendance:

Chairman Saundra Heffington called the meeting to order, and the minutes were
approved as mailed. Chairman Heffington gave a very complimentary report on
the response from the City Council concerning the work of the Arts Commission.
Jerry Estes presented a very interesting report on the Arts Conference held in
Amarillo, Texas on October 17-18, 1979.
Madge Muehlberger reported on the expenses of the Gala Opening of the Activities
Center. Total expenses were $12,877.73. The board unanimously agreed that it
was money well spent.
The Commission decided to omit the December meeting and meet again in the Activities
Center on January 15, 1980. Notices will be mailed on this meeting and information
concerning reservations for meals.
The meeting adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
