Following a later discussion, it was decided that the three elected officers would study other comparable cities and present their findings to the Commission at the May 16th meeting. Jose Gonzales expressed an interest in a "Day of Festival" to formally open the Activities Center. It was generally agreed that this would be a good idea, but would have to be planned. Hopefully, according to Gerald Fox and Carol Russell, the Activities Center will be finished in January.
