The Wichita Falls Arts Commission held its monthly meeting on September
19 , 1978 at the North Texas Savings and Loan Gallery at 12 Noon. The
following people were in attendance :

Jerry Estes , Vice Chairman, in the absence of Chairman Saundra Heffington,
called the meeting to order. The minutes were approved as typed and mailed.
Madge Muehlberger presented the floor plans , reviewed the Activity Center
Building, and discussed the earliest possibile date of availability. Madge is
chairman of the committee for planning the Arts Commission' s role in the opening .
of the new Activity Center. She also announced that the BCI would be putting
the calendar of events out quarterly.
A long discussion followed concerning the procedure of filling out applications
for money and emphasizing the deadline, which is October 1st. It was suggested
that we use our November meeting to review all applications that were turned
in by October 1st.
There was no official action taken by the Arts Commission and the meeting ad-
journed at 1 p.m.
