Resolution authorizing the purchase of a dual shaft tire shredder from
Recycling Equipment Inc. (REI) in the amount of$345,562.00
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of a dual shaft
tire shredder; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on November 9, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder was
Recycling Equipment Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of a dual shaft tire shredder is awarded to Recycling
Equipment Inc. in the amount of $345,562.00, and City Staff is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to purchase said item in accordance with the bid specifications.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of November, 2023.
