Resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit a request letter to the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers for the City of Wichita Falls to pursue the
Section 1135 Continuing Authorities Program
WHEREAS, the Mayor is authorized to send a letter to the US Army Corps of
Engineers to begin the Section 1135 program; and
WHEREAS, this letter will not financially obligate the City to expend any funds; and
WHEREAS, if the Corps of Engineers assigns this project a Federal Interest
Determination there will be future City Council action to move forward.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Mayor has the City Council's approval to submit a request letter to the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineering for the City of Wichita Falls to pursue the Section 1135
Continuing Authorities program.
