Item 02 -02: Spring Safety Patrol Party Elaine Bourgoin reported that the party was cancelled due to the inclement weather. Unfortunately, the party can not be rescheduled since the children are now out of school. The commission agreed that would be in the best interest and will implement in the upcoming school year. Item to remain open. Item 02 -03: Lake Park Dr. at Weeks Pk. Mrs. Haas advised that the caution lights flash from 7:20 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and again from 2:40 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The signs and markings do not seem to help. Mrs. Haas explained that she has approached the school officials regarding the problems and has not received any assistance. The commission members agreed to look into the situation to see what can be done and what changes may be needed. Chairman Jody Wade assigned a committee to work on the project. Committee members are John Burrus, Joe Clement, Patsy Walls, and Sgt. David Stout. Item will be added to the August meeting agenda.
