Resolution authorizing the purchase of two (2) Aluminum Solid Waste
Transfer Trailer to BTE Body Company, Inc. in the amount of$241,732.00.
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of two
Aluminum Solid Waste Transfer Trailers; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on October 13, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder was BTE
Body Company, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of two Aluminum Solid Waste Transfer Trailers is awarded
to BTE Body Company, inc. in the amount of$241 ,732.00, and City Staff is authorized to
execute all documents, in forms approved by the City Attorney, necessary to purchase
said item in accordance with the bid specifications.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of November, 2023.
