Resolution Confirming Appointments To The Firefighters And Police
OfFicers' Civil Service Commission.
WHEREAS, the Firefighters and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission is
established by state law, specifically S@CtIOC1 143.006 Of the TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT
CODE;
WHEREAS, it is a three-member board, whose members are appointed by the
City Manager, with confirmation by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager requests the confirmation of the appointment of
Mr. Jim Heiman to the Firefighters and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The appointment of Mr. Jim Heiman to the Firefighters and Police Officers' Civil
Service Commission is hereby confirmed.
