Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute An Agreement
With Secord & Lebow Architects, LLP, For The Design And
Construction Oversight Of The City Of Wichita Falls Downtown
Travel Center In An Estimated Amount Not To Exceed $332,500
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to undertake construction of a new
Downtown Travel Center;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls released a Request for Qualifications for
design services for this project;
WHEREAS, after interviewing firms offering proposals, the firm of Secord &
Lebow Architects, LLP, is recommended for design and construction oversight services
for the Downtown Travel Center project; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Transit Administration will fund 80% of the cost of these
architectural services, and the City of Wichita Falls will fund the remaining 20%.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a Professional Services Agreement
with Secord & Lebow Architects, LLP, for architectural services related to the Wichita
Falls Downtown Travel Center, in an estimated amount not to exceed $332,500, in a
form to be approved by the City Attorney.
