Mr. Poteet opened the meeting at 9:30 AM.

David Brock opened discussion about owners being able to pull permits and work on their
own properties without being licensed. There were several owners present who voiced an option
on this subject. After a lengthy discussion on this subject it was decided that 3 different
committees would be formed to help solve this problem. Nathan Brown will be in charge of the
committees. After they come up with alternatives they will meet with Rich. This will be brought
to the board next month.
It was discussed to adopt the International Code. Rich was given the names of the persons
appointed to the committee.
It was brought to the board's attention that roofers need Mail in Permit cards for repairs. It was
also discussed that Committee's will help decide what the guidelines will be. It was suggested
that if you don't tear anything off the roof then you don't need a permit. Rich agreed to this and
will add it to the ordinance and take it to the Council.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 AM.
