President Shores called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.
Minutes of the meeting of October 14, 2005 were approved as presented.
The committee went into Executive Session at 4:05 p.m. as authorized by
Sections 551.087 and 551.072 of the TExAs GOVERNMENT CODE.
The committee reconvened at 4:58 p.m.
No action was taken on items III, IV, V, or VII.
On other items, Tim Chase noted there would be a rally /demonstration at Delphi
on Friday, December 9. He said it is not designed to be a strike. Some individuals, e.g.
the mayor, will be asked to say a few words on how much we support and want them to
stay. UAW is organizing this rally. Tim was hesitant but talked to Ben Filer. There will be
an economic impact regardless of what happens. Even if the plant stays open with a
reduction in workforce or pay there will be economic impact. If there is a consolidation of
plants in Texas, we want them to stay here. The governor will write a letter to Delphi to
support them coming to Wichita Falls. Filer believes we are facing the greatest

catastrophic change in American manufacturing in this country. Tim hopes the BCI will
come to this committee with an incentive to bring these people in.
