January 24, 2007
The Water Resources Commission met on January 24, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. in the Public
Works Conference Room of the Memorial Auditorium. Those in attendance were
Water Resource Members Arnold Oliver, Chairman, Carol Lunce, Charles Barr and
Staff Representative Scott Taylor. Absent from the meeting were WRC Member Kerry
Maroney, Derek Meador, Chris Neeb, and Council Liaison, Jim Ginnings.
• Chairman Oliver convened the meeting at 4 :00 p.m.
• Mr. Taylor informed Chairman Oliver that because there was not a quorum, that the
minutes from the November 14, 2006 Meeting could not be approved.
• Chairman Oliver asked Mr. Taylor to review the Lake Ringgold issues. Mr. Taylor
did review that and is prepared to review it again at the next WRC Meeting.
• The next item that was discussed was the Wholesale Water Rate issue. Mr. Taylor
went through the rate setting process that the City of Wichita Falls currently uses for
its Wholesale Customers. Chairman Oliver requested that a copy of this be sent to
him for his review.
• There was a brief discussion concerning possible intermediate conservation
regulations. No decisions were made as to a recommendation.
• The meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m.
