Resurfacing will include work to improve the structure of the road under the driving surface, complete with an overlay. TxDOT will install a designated left turn lane in the north and south bound lanes for access to Professional Drive. Finally, TxDOT will upgrade the street signals and lights at the intersection. Mr. Brown anticipates starting the Windthorst Bridge project in the summer of 2012. The State Highway 79 project should begin in the summer of 2013.
