up around the end of the year.
1. Movement of the existing exit ramp at Kell and Fairway job is
underway.
2. High mast illumination replacement at 281/287 intersection has
a contractor and will began soon.
1. Mark Beauchamp advised the 2012 Bicycle Rodeo was a success.
We gave out close to 150 helmets and 53 kids completed the rodeo
safety course and one lucky 5 year old girl was the happy recipient
of a new bicycle. Mark thanked Patrick Hearn with the Wichita
County Medical Alliance who helped provide the helmets that
were donated by their organization and the Texas Medical
Foundation. Mark also thanked all the TSC members and the
other City organizations that helped and allowed us to participate
with them in our endeavor to help the children in our community
ride safe.
2. No bicycle ordinance on Kell Boulevard - It was agreed that a
letter would be drafted and sent to council for approval.
3. Ronnie & Stephanie Teakell Elm Wood N Circle Wichita Falls -
Advised they live on a zero lot line property. They presented a
concern about their neighbor who has planted shrubs that extend
to the street. Due to the placement and size of the shrubs, it
presents a hazard when exiting the Teakell's driveway. Mark
presented pictures and video. Peter Scott, the City Prosecutor,
was present and stated he would check ordinances and advise the
TSC at the next meeting.

4. Mark mentioned a concern in accidents at the intersection of Harrison
and Hampsted. He advised a request has been made to the TSC to
look at the safety of this intersection. Mark gave stats that reflected a
decrease in accidents over the last few years; therefore, appears speed
was the only factor that could be attributed to the accidents.
