Res 041-2023 Purchase DHCI Solution to Replace Aging Servers from CDW Government LLC 04/18/2023 Resolution No. 41-2023
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents
necessary to purchase an HPE Nimble DHCI solution to replace
several aging servers and storage for our City Business Network from
CDW Government LLC in the amount of$159,856.90
WHEREAS, the City's 2022-23 budget includes $315,154 to replace and upgrade
aging and unsupported network and server equipment every fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, this HPE Nimble DHCI unit carries a 5-year warranty agreement and
will be deployed on our City Business Network; and,
WHEREAS, quotes were received from State vendors on the Department of
Information Resources' Contract List for the purchase of this equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase an HPE Nimble DHCI solution to replace several aging servers
and storage for our City Business Network from CDW Government LLC in
the amount of $159,856.90.
