Minutes of the meeting
Today's meeting is a regularly scheduled meeting of the Human Needs Commission.
The meeting was convened in the City of Wichita Falls Council Conference Room.
Attendance was as follows:

1. Call to Order:
Item 1.Mr. Cupples called the commission to order at 5:32 pm. The minutes of
the January 17 meeting were approved.
2. Old Business:
None
3. New Business:
Item 1.New members were introduced to the Commission and an overview of
each committee was given to the new members. Assessment was made in
which committee needed new members, the greatest need for members is
in the Again and Disabled and the Committee on Youth. Sheldon will
work with Ronnie and Pat on the Committee on Aging and Disabled and
Travis will work with the Committee on Youth. New members will be
given Bylaws.
Item 2.Committee on Aging/Disabled: Ronnie will meet with Pat and Sheldon
to set up a meeting.
Item 3.Committee on the Status of Women: Meetings are held every other
month, did not have a February meeting,but will have a March meeting,
will start working on October domestic violence conference.
Commission on Human Needs (continued)
Item 4.Human Needs Committee: Working with Homeward project to get a
letter of support from City. Katherine will give letter to Dave for his
review.
Item 5.Committee on Youth: Will notified commission of meeting times and
dates.
4. There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made and seconded. The
motion to adjourn was unanimous. The committee adjourned at 5:50.
5. The next meeting will be held March 21, at 5:00pm in the City Council Conference
Room.
