Ordinance Making An Appropriation To The Special Revenue Fund In
The Amount Of $7,945.10 Received From The U.S. Department Of
Homeland Security 2012 Homeland Security Grant And Authorizing
The City Manager To Execute All Documents Necessary To Accept
Said Funds
WHEREAS, the City has been notified that it has been awarded $7,945.10 from
the 2012 State Homeland Security Program and,
WHEREAS, the grant of $7,945.10 has been identified to support the City of
Wichita Falls Mobile Command unit and support an ID badge system as required by the
National Incident Management System for first responders and Emergency Operation
staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated into the Special Revenue Fund $7,945.10 for the
2012 State Homeland Security Program Grant, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to accept said funds, including a contract with the
U.S. Department of Homeland Security for provision of said funds.
