Res 007-2023 One Year Extension to Existing Contract With AMR 01/17/2023 Resolution No. 07-2023
Resolution granting a one-year extension to the existing
contract with American Medical Response Ambulance
Services, Inc. (AMR)
WHEREAS, the city entered into an exclusive agreement with American Medical
Response Ambulance Services, Inc. on February 18, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement was executed as a five-year agreement, with five (5)
one-year extensions; and,
WHEREAS, AMR has complied with providing a written request to extend the
agreement; and,
WHEREAS, AMR has consistently performed to the standards outlined in the
agreement; and
WHEREAS, the EMS Advisory Board has met and unanimously recommended the
approval of the request
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The resolution granting a one-year extension to the existing contract with American
Medical Response Ambulance Services, Inc. (AMR) is approved and City staff are
authorized to execute all documents necessary to convey the same.
