Min 09/11/1920 (2) Wichita Falls, Texas City Hall September 10th. 1920. The Board of aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in adjourned regular session in the City Hall on this the 10th, day of September A. D. 1920. PRESENT: W. D. Cline, Mayor W. S. Curlee q W. M. Bonner q M. 0. McDowell p Aldermen W. G. Bralley I Geo. W. Thorburn, City Clerk ..mong other proceedings the following were had:- ### ############### The Mayor presented to the Board for its consideration, and action thereon, an ordinance entitled ORDINANCE 308 "All ORDINANCE CONFIRMING CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS AND C. R. NICHOLS, CONTRACTOR, FOR THE FURNISHING OF MATERIALS AND LABOR IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMPLETE SEWER SYSTEM IN AND POR TH15 CITY OF WICHITA FALLS; PROVIDING THE METHOD OF PAY20NT FOR SAID MATERIALS AND WORK BY THE ISSUANCE OF WARRANTS AND BONDS: PROVIDING FOR TIE LEVY OF a TAX TO PAY THE INTEREST THEREON AND TO CREATE A SINKING FUND FOR THEIR REDEMPTION AT MATURITY: AND DECLARING aN EMERGENCY". It was moved by Alderman W. S. Curlee, seconded by Alderman Bralley that the Ordinance be read in full. Motion carried and the ordinance was read in full by the City Clerk. Moved by alderman W. S. Curlee seconded by alderman W. B. Bral- ley that the ordinance pass its first reading. Ayes: Aldermen W. S. Curlee, W. G. Bralley, W. N. Bonner, M. 0. McDowell. Hayes: None. Moved by Alderman Curiae that the Mayor be authorized to sign contract with C. R. Nichols for construction of the new sewer system, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried. Moved by Alderman McDowell that the following prices for mat- erial for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer, made by the San Antonio Sewer Pipe Works, on August 6th, 1920 be approved and that the City pay the San Antonio Sewer Pipe Co., direct for this material.
