An ordinance granting to the North Texas Gas Cp. the right
to increase its rates for natural gas sold to gas users within the City pf
t WbcAgta Falls, Wichita Cpunty, Texas, and fixing the price to be charged by it
for natural gas sold within the said City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and am-
ending "An Ordinance giving and granting to M. W. Baham, his associates and
assigns the right to construct and operate gas works in the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and the right to lay mains and pipes and make all connections in
the streets andcalleys of the City of Wichita Falls and to do all other things
necessary to the o eration of said gas works" in so far as it conflicts with

WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, has heretofore determined the necessity for the construction of sewer
improvements within and for the said City, and on the 21st day of February,.
1920, entered into contract Aith C. R. Nichols, of said Wichita County and
24 State of Texas, for the construction of certain sewer improvements in and
for said City, as in hereinafter more fully set out; and-
WHEREAS, certain changes have been agreed upon in the clans
and specifications, and said specifications and the contract hereinbefore
referred to changed and modified in the matter of the method of the payment
of the contractor and the rate of interest the evidences of the indebtedness
issued to the Contractor shall bear, and other changes, which changes and
modifications have been agreed upon, in writing, by and between the parties
hereto, after approval by the Board of Aldermen, said changed or modified
contract being in words and figures follows, towit:
Mr. H. C. Fitzgerald then filed a petition to o en a Grocery
store adjacent to and near 1604 Huff Street Which was referred to the City
Engineer as the location is situated in what shows to be an alley.
Moved by Alderman McFall that the City Clerk be authorized to
issue warrant to the chamber of Commerce for Three hundred dollars200.00
for half amount due on "White way" on a frontage of 200 feet at City Hall, and
also issue warrant for Two hundred and fifty dollars ( 250.00) to W. F. Weeks
for legal services in the Southwestern Bell Telephone case on Increase of rates.
