September 23rd, 1920. The Board of Alderman of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date for the transaction of the business of the City with Mayor W. D. Cline presiding and Aldermen Bralley,Curlee Bonner, McDowell and City Clerk Therburn in attendance. ORDINANCE N0. 316. "An ordinance providing for the license and regulation of Itinerant Vendor Goods and wares and merchandise and providing a penalty". was on motion of Alderman Bonner seconded by Alderman Curiae put on its first reading by the following yea and nay vote. Alderman Curlee yea " Bonner yea TM McDowellyea " Bralley yea Mayor Cline then declared Ordinance 316 passed on its first reading by all of the Aldermen present voting yea. Moved by Alderman Curlee that Mr Gilbert be allowed side- walk and parking apace at 805 Scott and seven feet in alley for storage of materials for 60 days and which motion was seconded by Alderman Bralley and carried. Moved by alderman Curlee that the form of Bond presented by C. R. Nichols be approved which motionwas seconded by Alderman McDowell and carried. ORDINANNCE 306 "An Ordinance requiring a permit from the City Engineer before any person, firm corporation or agent thereof shall construct re- construct or repair any sidewalk driveway or curbing within The City cf. Wichita Falls Texas, stating the conditions under which said permit is granted and providing for a penalty". was on motion of Alderman Curlee seconded by alderman Bonner placed on its third and final reading by the following yea and nay vote. "An ordinance regulating the keeping of hogs in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, also regulating hog )ens, providing for a penalty and declaring an emergency". was on the motion of alderman Curlee seconded by Alderman McDowell placed on tie second reading by the following yea and nay vote. ORDINANCE No. 317 "An ordinance prohibiting the erectiOn.of houses, stru- ctures or buildings in the streets, alleys, sidewalks or public roadways of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas prohibiting the occupancy or use of same declaring same to be a nuisance and declaring an emergency and pro- viding for a penalty”. was on motion of Alderman Curlee seconded by alderman Bonner placed on its first reading by the following yea and aay vote. ORDINANCE NO. 300 • "An ordinance to license, tax and regulate hacks,carri- ages omnibuses, service cars, automobiles, motor buses, and any motor vehicle engaged in the transportation of passengers for hire and to pre- scribe their compensation and to provide for their protection, and est- ablishing stands for same and prohibiting the standing of such vehicles at places other than herein provided and prescribing a penalty". was on motion of Alderman Curlee seconded by Alderman Bonner placed on its third and final reading by the following yea and nay vote. ORDINANCE 310 "An ordinance prohibiting the parking of vehicles for a longer period than one hour between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m except Sundays and except as provided for certain stands in Ordinance 300, at any point on that part of Eighth Street between Michigan Avenue and Lamar street in the City of Wichita Falls Texas, prescribing a penalty and declaring an emergency". was on motion of alderman Bonner seconded by Alderman McDowell, placed on its B.nd final reading by the following yea and nay vote. Moved by Alderman Bonner that Ordinance 310 be passed "as read" which motion was seconded by alderman icDowell and carried. 33 ORDINANCE NO. 309 "An Ordinance regulating the kind and conditions of con- tainers and utensils used in the dispensing of soft drinks and certain confections to the public within the City of Wichita Falls, Texas and prescribing a penalty". was on motion of Alderman 1+kcDowell seconded by alderman Bralley placed on its third and final reading by the foll- owing yea and nay vote.
