The Board of Aldermen met in special session on tim above
date to hear any protests on the paving assessments being made on Buchanan
street and Tilden Street with l-tyov 'i. D. Cline presiding and Aldermen Bralley
Curlee, LmDowe1l,McFall, Bonner and City Clerk Thorburn in attendance.
No protests being filed the following ordinances were then
passed as follows:
ORDINANCE 319.
"An ordinance making final assessments against abutting
property on Buchanan Street, all t1.e unpaved protion between A4Ato Street
and Avenue H, and providing method of enforcing payments, the issuance of
assignable certificates, and collection of th costs and attorney fees and
de:cisring an emergency".
Moved by Alderman McFall that the rules requiring ordinances
to be read on three se arate days be suspended, which motion was seconded by
Alderman McDowell and carried by the following yea and nay vote.

Bonner, yea
McDowell yea
McFall yea

It was then moved by Aldermen McFall seconded by Alderman
ncDowell that Ordinance 319 be finally passed as read, and the following vote
was taken.

Mayor Cline then declared ordinance 319 finally passed, be-
cause of the suspension of the rules and all of the Aldermen voting yea.
ORDINANCE 320.
"An ordinance making final assessments against abutting
property for im rovements on Tilden Street all the unpaved portion from the
North line of Avenue D, to the Port); line of avenue G, providing method of
enforcing payments, the issuance of assignable certificates, and collections
of the costs and attorneys fees, and declaring an emergency".
Moved by alderman McFe11 that tilt, riles requiring ordinances
• to be read on three sepsrate days be suspended, which motion was seconded by
Alderman Bon er and Carried by the following yea and nay vote.

It was then moved by alderman Bonner seconded by Alderman
McDowell, that ordinance 320 Be finally passed as read and the following vote

Mayor Cline then declared Ordinance 320 finally passed by
reason of the rules being suspended and all of the aldermen voting yea.
The Board of Aldermen t'.ien adjourned.
