Upf� the following amounts, and to levy said taxes, were sustained by a majority
of the qualified property tax payers voting at said election, to-wit:
(1) Bonds in the amount of $700,000.00 for the purpose of
constructing a complete sanitary sewer system.
(2) Bonds in the amount of D260,000.00 for the purpose of
constructing storm sewers.
(3G Bonds in the amount of $340,000.00 for the purpose of
constructing permanent street improvements. •
(4) Bonds in the amount of $200.000.00 for the purpose of
construeting improvements and extensions to the present sys-
tem of water works.
(5) Bonds in the amount of $25,000.00 for the purpose of
constructing a public building, to-wit, an incinerator.
(6) Bonds in the amount of $75,000.00 for the purpose of
constructing public buildings, to-wit, additions to and
repairs of the City Hospital.
(7) Bonds in the amount of D25,000.00 for the purpose of ao-
quiring public parks, play grounds and cemeteries;
IT IS FURTHER, 03.DERcED AND DECLARED that the Board of Alder-
men of said City shall be and is authorized ie issue said bonds and to levy

andhave assessed and collected said tax.

Moved by Alderman Bonner that the City Clerk be instructed
to notify the North Texas Gas Campany to install a proper sized main to furn-
ish, Gas to the present residents of Sibley Street which motion was seconded
by Alderman Curlee and carried.
A petition was then presented by the Merchants on 8th Street
asking for the Repeal of the one hour parking law and.Alderman Shepherd moved
that the petition be received and tabled and an investigation made by all mem-
bers of the Board of Aldermen as to the loss of business caused the merchants
on Eighth Street by this law, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and
carried.
Bids for the $700,000.00 Sewer Boid.s were then offered for sale
and the following bids received.-
(1) S. R. Fuller agreed to find a buyer for the Books at par
and accrued interest provided the City of Wichita Falls, would pay him $21,000.00
as commission; the commission to inolude the cost of printing, attorney fees,
and all other exxenses; Wood & Oakley of Chicago Ill, to pass as.to the ldgaiity
of the issue and a forfeit of $20,n00.00 to be put up by.said S. R. Fuller.
(2) Thornton Bowman made a bid which would nett the City,
95-13/16.
It was then moved by Alderman Curlee that the offer of S. R.
Fuller be accepted and that the Mayor be authorized to sign and execute con-
tract for same,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then recessed until 10 A. M, Oct. 15th,

The Board of Alderman of the City of Wichita Falls, met in
regular adjourned session on the above date with following officers present.
W. D. Cline Mayor.
Aldermen: Curies, Bralley, Bonner, Shepherd, McDowell, Geo. W.
Thacburn, City Clerk.
Mr. S. R. Fuller then reported that the #700.000.00 Sewer Bonds
had been sold to Holsey Stuart & Co et al, as per the terms of his contract with
the City and Alderman Curlee moved that the Mayor be authorized to sign and exe-
cute contract with these parties,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.
The Board of Alderman then adjourned.
