The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
met in regular session on the above date for the transaction of the business
of the City with Mayor Pro-tem W. S. Curlee presiding and Aldermen Bralley,
• Bonner, McDowell, Shepherd and City Clerk Thorburn in attendance.
Moved by Alderman Bonner that C. L. Summerville be permitted
to install a Gasoline filling station at 702 Lee Street under the usual prow
isions to-wit: That the said C. L. Summerville, his heirs and assigns, legal
representatives add administrators bold the City harmless from any damages that
may arise from the installation paid, Gasoline filling Station and that iM be
installed under the supervision of the City Engineer, tad that said gasoline fil-
ling station be removed promptly on the request of the Board of Alderman
which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bonner that 02100.00 of the Denver- Rose
Eighth Street maintenance fund be invested in mechanic lien notes against the
property of Wm. Weber in the amount of 01400.00 and against the property of
H. H. Marrenbrock in the amount of 0700.00
which motion was seconded by Alderman McDowell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bralley that George W. Thorburn be app-
ointed Clerk of the Corporation Court without salary,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.
Mr Thorburn then asked that the Board of Alderman approve
the appointment 6f Jules Ehlers as Deputy Clerk of the Corporation Court and
Aldermen Bralley moved that this appointment be approved and ratified, which
motion was seconded by Alderman McDowell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bralley, that the• sum of Ten Dollars, fine
in Case No.,,3o6"2v be refunded to Horace Robbins as recommended by the City
Attorney. which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
