Min 11/15/1920 • CITY HALL, NOV'2,23^R 15th, 1920. THE Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas met in regular session on the above date with Mayor W. D. Cline presiding and Aldermen Curlee, Bonner, Bralley, Shepherd, and City Clerk Thorburn in atten- dance. Moved by Alderman Curlee that a refund be made bf seventy five dollars each to the following Service Car drivers and owners, who paid in . the above amount for license on March 1st, 1920. J. R. Moved by Alderman Bonner that the Wichita Falls, Electric Company be ordered to furnish service to certain houses to-wit: Magnolia as st.h as same are wired and ready for service, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bralley and carried. The Mayor then appointed the following as the City of Wichita Palls Charities Commission in accordance with Ordinance 208. J. C. Hunt, Chairman Mrs Ousley N. H. Martin. ORDINANCE 334. "AN ordinance regulating travel and traffic on the streets and side-walks of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, providing a penalty and declaring an emergency". was on motion of Alderman Bonner seconded by Alderman Shop.. herd put on its first reading and passed by the following vote: Alderman Curlee, Yea Bonner yea Bralley yea Shepherd yea. • Nays: None. • ORDINANCE 335. An ordinance repealing an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance prohibiting the parking of vehicles for a longer period of one hour between the hours of 8 A.M. and 6 P. M. except Sunday and except as provided for certain stands in Ordinance No. 300, at any point on that part of Eighth Street between Michigan Avenue and Lamar Street, 'passed and approved on the 23rd day of September A. D. 1920." Was on motion of Alderman Curlee seconded by Alderman Bralley put on its reading and passed by the following vote:- Yeas: Aldermen Curlee, Bralley, Bonner , Shepherd. Nays. Nnne. Wichita Falls, Texas IIovemberl9th, 1920. You are hereby notified that there will be held a special meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City ofWichita Falls, at the City Hall of said City at 11 o'clock A. M. on November 20, 1920, for the purpose of finally closing up and consummating the sale and purchase of the Water Works system of said City, including Lots Wichita, from the Wichita Falls Water Co, and the Wichita Falls Electric Co., to said City and attending to all matters incident to and connected with said transaction.
