IMPROVMAENT OF PORTIONS OF EIGHTH STREET, NINTH STREET, AVENUE "A",
AND GRANT STREET, AND FOR THE LEVY OF ASSESSMENT AGAINST THE OWNERS
OF PROPERTY ABUTTING THEREON, AND DECLARING AN ERGENCY~
was on motion of Alderman MoDosvell seconded by Alderman
Shepherd put on its first reading and passed by the following vote.
Yeas:- Bralley, Shepherd, McDowell.
Payee:- None.

consideration an ordinance same being ORDINANCE 336, entitled.
"AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE RIGRT, PRIVILEGE AND FRANCHISES
TO LEROY R. SCHEURER, L. T. BURNS ANDW. E. FITZGERALD TO LAY,BUILD, CON-
STRUCT, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A SPUR TRACT FROM THE MAIN LINE OF THE WICH-
ITA VALLEY RAILWAY COMPANY, LEAVING ITS MAIN LINE SOMEWHERE NEAR WALNUT
STREET AND EXTENDING ALONG THA WEST SIDE OF W. E. FITZGERALD'S LOTS,THE
SAME BEING LOTS 9 & 10, BLOCK No.23 BARWISE & ZALONICS ADDITION: THENCE
ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF L. T. BURNS' LOT 1 OF SAID BLOCK 23; THENCE ACR-
OSS ELM STREET AND ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF LEROY R. SCHEURER LOT 10 OF
BLOCK 16 OF SAID ADDITION, AND TO MAINTAIN THE SAMF FOR TEN YEARS".

on its third and final reading.

by the following vote:-

The Mayor then presented to the Board of Aldermen for its
consideration an Ordinance same being Ordinance 337, entitled.
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGING THE MEETING PLACE OFF
THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS FROM THE CITY HALL
TO THE BASEMENT OF THE MORGAN BUILDING, SAME BEING ROOM NO.
AND OCCUPIED BY THE WATER DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FAI;LEiTEMAS".
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that Ordinance 337, be put on
its third and final reading which motion was seconded by Alderman Bralley
and passed by the following vote:*
Yeas:- Bralley, McDowell, Shepherd.
Reyes:- None.
