Min 01/03/1921 Morgan Building January 3rd, 1921. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, met in regular session On the above date for the transaction of the business of the City with the following present:- W. D. Cline, Mayor W. S. Curlee ) W. G. Bralley ) ALDERMEN R. E. Shepherd ) W. N. Bonner ) Geo. W. Thorburn, City Clerk Moved by Alderman Bralley that the contract with the Tex - home Oil Co., made by W. S. Curlee be approved and ratified, Which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried. Moved by Alderman Curlee that J. H. Hall be permitted to install a gasoline filling station at Ohio and 12th Street under the usual provisions to-wit: That the said J. H. Hall, his successors and assigns legal representatives and administrators hold the City harmless from any damage that may arise from the installation of said gasoline filling station,and that the same be installed under the supervisions end instructions of the City Engineer and removed at any time in request of the Board of Aldermen, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried. Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the Mayor be authorized to sign and execute contract for easement across the Fort Worth & Denver City Ey for Sanitary Sewer at or near Washington Avenue and that City Clerk be author- ized to issue warrant for Len Dollars, (P10.00) in payment of same, which motion was seconded by Alderman Curies and carried. Moved by Alderman Curlee that the City Clerk be authorized to issue warrant to Orville Bullington for 1258.20 same being amount advan- ced by said Orville Bullington to install water main in North Fillmore. which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried. Moved by Alderman Curies that the City Attorney take the necessary steps to have a public hearing on the Amended Franchise asked by the Wichita Falls traction Co., which motion was seconded by Alderman Banner and carried. Moved by Alderman Curies that the bill presented by the Wichita Falls Electric Co., for supplies for extension and improvement and operating of the present Water Works System, which amounts to P66098.70 be approved, and that City Clerk be authorized to issue warrant for same. Moved by Alderman Shepherd that coupons for semi-annual interest on P800,000.00 Water Bonds from February 10th to October 10th be turned over to C. E. Calder, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried. Moved by Alderman Bonner that no charge be made for permit to install fire plugs for the City. which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried. Mowed by Alderman Curlee that the owners of property abut- ting on the alley through Block No.151 be permitted to pave said alley prov- ided they pay all the cost of said paving, except that the City of Wichita Falls will do the excavating, which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.
