Moved by Alderman Curlee that action be deferred on permit for operating
a bakery and grocery store on alley between 9th and 10th streets and Harrison and
Van Buren Streets,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that a permit to pperate a grocery store
at 1108, 13th Street be refused,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.

CITY CHARTER OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS TEXAS, RELATING TO STREET IMPROVEMENTS,
AND PEOVIDIN& FOR NOTICE AND HEARING TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND OTHERS, AND FOR ASS-
ESSMENTS FOR SUCH IMPROVEMENTS AND REPEALING ORDINANCES AND PROCEEDINGS IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY".

PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN EMRGENCY".

Bids were then opened for the paving of portions of various Streets and
were turned over to the City Engineer for tabulation, and to be returned to the
Board at 10 A. M., Wednesday morning May 18th, 1921, when same would be consid-
ered by the Board.

ohase Blks. 34 and 35, Barwise and Jaloniok Addition to the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, for a tourist Park, provided that satisfactory terms can be
made,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bralley, and carried.
Moved by Alderman Curlee that all the bids for pavement submitted by
contractors be rejeoted,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bralley and carried.
Moved by Alderman Reed that W. S. Curlee and W. G. Bralley be author-
ized to make necessary ohanges in the City Hall to a000modate the Engineering %`%
Department, and Police Department,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Shenherd,and carried.
