Min 06/10/1921 • • • which motion was seconded by Alderman Braley and carried. # !######t#### Moved by Alderman Bonner that Whereas, the District Court has thrown out the election for Place No. 1 on the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, that the Board of Aldermen recess until 11, A. M. Friday June 10th 1921, so that the order from Court can be acted on and a New election ordered, which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned until Friday Morning at 11 A. M. June 10th, 1921. ############ Morgan Building, Wichita Palls, Texas. June 10th, 1921. McDowell 0 which motion was seconded by Alderman Reed, and carried. # ##r## • i Moved by Alderman Curlee that Dr. Reed be authorized to make such investigation as he deems fit for the purpose of purchasing a lifting pump for the New Sanitary Sewer System, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner, and carried. #H##H####174 Moved by Alderman Reed, seconded by Alderman Bonner that the foll- owing Resolution be adopted, Motion passed by following vote:- Yeas: Bralley, Bonner, Reed, Curies, Shepherd. • Mayes: None. ############# B-E-S-O-L-U-T-I-O-N WHEREAS, in the case of George H. Hodgens vs. W. G. sralley, No. in the District Court of Wichita County, Texas, Seventy-eighth District, where n George H. Hdogens, brought suit for the purpose of oontesting the elation of W. G. Bralley to the Office of "Place No. 1 on the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas," and I WHEREAS, by the judgment of said court duly rendered, it was held and 1 adjudged that on aocoBnt of the method in which said election was held that the same should be set aside as to said office, and a new election should be ordered by the City Council of Wichita Falls, Texas, to fill said office; NOW, THEREFORE: In obedience to said order of the scum t, it is hereby ordered by the Boar& of Aldermen of Wichita Falls, Texas, that an election be held on the 16th day of July 1921, at the usual polling places in said City, for the purpose of electing a member of the Board of Aldermen of said City, Place No. 1; that said election be held in accordance with the general Inws and the charter of said City; that the regular officers of election hold said election and make returns thereof as required by law and proper notice of said election be given as required by law, and the charter of said City.
