The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas met in
regular session on the above date with the following presents-

Moved-by Alderman Reed, that the request of J. M. McFall to place
a sign showing exits out of town on the corner of the City Hall be granted.
which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the following refund of taxes be fF
made.
(1) Wayne P. Robertson 436.25, on Lot 8,Blook 14, Jalonick Addition.
(2) Mrs C. M. Steele 439.87 on Lot 4, Block 23, Southland Addition.
which motion was seconded by Alderman Reed, and carried.

Mr. Geo. W. Burrows then requested the Council for a Franchise to
place his u. S. 'atent Sanitary Fire Proof, waste paper receptacle cans on
the streets of Wichita Falls, and Alderman Curlee moved that the matter be
referred to Dr. Reed for investigation and a report as to the advisability of
granting such a franchise,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd, and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the City Engineer be authorized to
order a pump for the new sanitary sewer now under construction at an approxi-
mate cost of $5400.00,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried.
Moved by Alderman Reed that the City Engineers expenses to Beaumont
and other places for the purpose of inspecting certain pumps for sanitary
sewer use be paid by the City,\
which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.

'Moved by Alderman Curlee, that Oscar Propst,be paid 420.00 for
damage to his property by running the New Sanitary Sewer through same,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.

Moved by Alderman Curlee that in order to come to a definite
understanding about the decrease of salary of certain City employees that
the Council adjourn until 10 A. M. Thursday 23rd June 1921,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.
