The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular adjourned session on the above date with the following present:-

ORDINANCE 383
"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR A TEMPORARY LOAN FOR
THE CITY OF W7ICHLTA FALLS TEXAS NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF $200.000.00 DOLLARS
FIXING THE TERMS THEREOF, DATE OF PAYMENT, RATE OF INTEREST AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EMERGENCY".
Was on motion of Alderman Curlee, seconded by Alderman Fitts,
placed on its third and final reading, and passed by following vote:-
Yeas: Curlee, Fitts, Bonner, Reed,
Mayes: None.

Moved by Alderman Reed, that G. C. Payne and M. Johnstone be per-
. mitted to install a Gasoline Filling Station at Eighth and Burnett under the
usual conditions to-wit:
That the said G. C. ayne and M. Johnstone his successors and
assigns, legal representatives and dministrators hold the City harmless from
any damage that may arise from the installation of said Gasoline Filling
Station and that said filling station shall be installed under the supervision
of the City Engineer and shall be removed at once when the Board of Aldermen
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas shall request such removal.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts, and carried.

Tuesday 6th, September 1921.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.

The Board then discussed the opening up of Front Street, and also
heard arguments for and against the installation of Light service in the Scot-
land Addition, but no action was taken.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
