Min 10/17/1921 Morgan Building, Wichita Falls, Texas October 17th, 1921. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wiohita palls, Texas met in regular session on the above date at 7 p. M. with the following present. W. D. Cline, Mayor W. N. Bonner 6 W. S. Curlee J. B. Fitts 6 ALDERMEN J. F. Reed R. E. Shepherd 6 Geo. W. Thorburn, City Clerk. Notice having been received that Mr. Joe Barwise, repres- enting the Fort Worth & Denver City By., Co., would be in Wichita Falls, on Tuesday the 18th Inst and wished to meet with the Council to discuss the having on the South end of Ohio Avenue. Alderman Curlee moved that the Board adjourn until 11.00 A. M. Tuesday October 18th, 1921. Motion seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried. The Board then adjourned according to resolution. Thorburn, City Clerk ############################### Mr. Barwise then addressed the Board regarding the Denver Ry Cogs share of the paving on South end of Ohio and after considerable dts- eussion Alderman Fitts moved, that the Fort Worth and Denver City Ry Co., be assessed the sum of Four Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty ;even and 04/100 Dollars (y$4827.04) for the paving on Ohio Avenue from the WM line of Bert Bean property to the South line of the viaduct entrace on Fourth Street, Motion seconded by Alderman Bonner, and carried. ############################## ORDINANCE 387 "AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTION 26 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 220 ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAVEL AND TRAFFIC ON THE STREETS AND SIDE- WALKS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE FINTH DAY OF JULY A. D. 1915 AND SIGNED BY A. H. BRITAIN, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF WICH- ITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY". was on motion of Alderman Curlee, seconded by Alderman Shepherd placed on its second reading and -passed by the following vote:- Yeas: Curlee, Shepherd, Banner, Fitts, Reed. Nayes: None. Moved by Alderman Curlee that the rules requiring Ordinan- ces to be read on three separate days be suspended as to this Ordinance. Motion seconded by Alderman shepherd and carried by foll- owing vote:- Yeas: Curlee, Bonner, Fitts, Shepherd, Reed. Nayes: None. 6, 316
