The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
met in regular session on the above date with the following present:-

Moved by Alderman Fitts that J. A. Maag be permitted to con-
struct and operate grocery store on Lot 1, Block 70A, Highland Heights Addition
to the City of Wichita Falls, under the usual provisions to-wit:-
That the said J. A. Mang, his successors and assigns legal
representatives and administrators hold the City harmless from any damages that
may arise from the operation of said Grocery Store, and that said store shall be
removed at once, whenever request for removal is made by the Board of Aldermen of
the City of Wichita Falls.
Motion seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Curlee that W. T. Henderson be refunded
$48.14 for taxes paid twice.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.
Moved by Alderman Fitts that the bill turned in by Ben Spencer /I
for catching and killing dogs and commission on dog tags amounting to $64.00 be
paid.
Motion seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Curlee that in the contract with the White-
Hill Construction Company for construction of Hospital alternates Nos. 2, 3 and
4 be accepted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the amount due Call Field n
Hospital for the City's half of deficit for 3 months ending December 31st be
reduced from $1102.58 to $900.79 in accordance with the audit submitted by
W. E. MoBroom.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the action of the City Clerk
in cancelling all plumbers licenses issued in error on wrong form and issuing new
licenses on correct form be hereby ratified and approved.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the audit for the fiscal year
from April lst 1920 to March 31st 1921 made by Ira S. Harris be approved and ace-
epted and that the City Treasurer be authorized to make the following transfer of
funds as shown by said audit:-

McBroom as deputy clerk of the Corcoration Court by the City Clerk be hereby
ratified and approved.

ey Mann and City Engineer Montgomery, be apnointed Committee to report what can
be done to open Broad Street into Sibley Taylor Addition.

"AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING RESIDENCES AND BUSINESS HOUSES TO BE
NUMBERED, STATING THE METHOD OF NUMBERING, THE KIND OF NUMBERS, THE DUTY OF THE
CITY ENGINEER TO DESIGNATE NUMBERS AND PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY".

placed on its third and final reading and passed by the following vote:-
Yeas: Curlee, Shepherd, Fitts.

AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THAT ALL WEIGHTS AND MEASURES USED FOR
THE SALE OF MERCHANDISE, COMMODITIES AND PRODUCE SHALL BE PROPERLY TESTED AND IN-
SPECTED; PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF THE OFFICE OF INSPECTOR OF WEIGHTS AND ME-
ASURES DEFINING HIS DUTIES AND PROVIDING A PENALTY".
was on motion of Alderman Shepherd seconded by Alderman Curlee
placed on its second reading and passed•by following vote:-

Moved by Alderman Fitts that Commissioner Curlee bt author-
ized to Gravel from the Fire Station on Seventh Street to Holliday, and from
Holliday between Seventh and Eighth Streets.
Was on motion of Alderman Shepherd seconded by Alderman Curlee
and carried.
