in regular session on the above Late with the following present:-

Moved by Alderman Fitts that the Street Commissioner be auth-
orized to gravel portion of Seventh Street between the railroad tracks and the
Ball Park.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.

ORDINANCE # 402
"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR A TEMPORARY LOAN
FOR THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF $60,000.00 FIXING
THE TERMS THEREOF, DATE OF PAYMENT, RATE OF INTEREST AND PROVIDING FOR AN EMER-
GENCY AND REPEALING ORDINANCE 399".
Was on motion of Alderman Fitts, seconded by Alderman Curlee
placed on its first reading and passed by the following vote:-
Yeas: Reed, Curlee, Bonner, Shepherd, Fitts.
Nayes: None.
Moved by Alderman Curlee that the rules requiring Ordinances
to be read on three senarate days be suspended and an emergency declared:-
Motion seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried by the following
vote:-
Yeas: Reed, Curlee, Fitts, Shepherd, Bonner.
Nayes: None.

OF OCTOBER 1914 AND SIGNED BY A. H. BRITAIN, MAYOR".
