met in regular adjourned session at 3:30 P. M. on the above date with the
following present:-

ORDINANCE 413
"AN OR➢INANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF TWO HUNDRED AND
SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($275,000.00) DOLLARS OF CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,FUNDING
WARRANT NOVAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING, AND IN SETTLEMENT OF VALID OUTSTAND-
ING INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS; PROVIDING FOn THE LEVY OF TAXES
FOR THE PAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST OF SAID INDEBTEDNESS AT MATURITY AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY".
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that this Ordinance be read in
full.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts, and Ordinance was read
in full by the City Clerk.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd, seconded by Alderman Fitts,
that this ordinance be placed on its second reading.
Motion carried by the following vote:-
Yeas: Reed, Clifford, Shepherd, Pitts.
Nayes: None.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the Board of Aldermen ad-
journ until 3:30 P. M. Wednesday June 21st A. D. 1922.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts, and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the following Resolution
be adopted:-
Motion seconded by Alderman Clifford and carried by the
following vote:-
Yeas: Reed, Shepherd, Clifford.

RESOLUTION
"Be it resolved by the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, that the following freeholder J. W. Thomas, who is a
resident citizen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be and is hereby app-
ointed a member of the Board of Equalization of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, for the year 1922 to equalize the property values of all the property
assessed for taxes for the City purposes by the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and to perform such other duties as may be required of them by the laws of
the State of Texas and the constitution and the Charter, and ordinances of the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Said member of the Board of Equalization shall take the
oath that is required under Article # 7573 of the R. S. of Texas.

"AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE
CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FOR ONE YEAR BEGINNING
APRIL 1ST 1922, AND ENDING MARCH 31ST 1923".
Was on motion of Alderman Clifford, seconded by Alderman
Shepherd, placed on its second reading and passed by the following vote:-
Yeas: Reed, Clifford, Shepherd,
Bayes: Bone.
