Min 07/06/1922 Morgan BUilding Wichita Falls, Texas. July 3rd 1922. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular session on the above date with the following present:- Frank Uoilier, Mayor N. M. Clifford 1 Burton Stayton 1 J. F. Reed 1 aldermen J. B. Fitts 1 R. E. Shepherd 1 Geo. W. Thorburn, City Clerk ######################## Moved by alderman Clifford'that the bill for 00.75 pre- sented by F. N. Lawton for expenses on trip to Galveston be paid. Motion seconded by alderman Fitts and carried. ##################### Moved by Alderman Clifford that Judge Chauncey's resig- nation be accepted add that a vote of thanks be extended him for services rendered. Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried. ##### # ### #### ORDINANCE 415 "AN ORDINANCE TO LICENSE AND REGULATE 1HE HHWKING AND PEDDLING OF GOUDS WARES OR MERCHANDISE ON THE PUBLIC THOROUGHFARES: PRES- CRIBING FEES THEREFOR, REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINAN- CES, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY". Was on motion of Alderman Shepherd, seconded by Alderman Fitts placed on its first reading and passed by the following vote:- Yeas: Clifford, Reed, Shepherd, Fitts, Stayton Nayes: None. ######+ '########## Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the Water Company be authorized to make the Water service extensions, to the extent of $11,000.00 Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts, and carried. ############## Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the Board adjourn until 10:30 A. M. July 6th 1922. Motion seconded by alderman Clifford and carried. #################### Morgan Building Wichita Falls, Texas, July 6th 1922. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular adjourned session at 10:30 A. M. on the above date with the following present:- Frank Collier, Mayor J. F. Reed 1 J. B. Fitts R. E. Shepherd 1 Aldermen Burton Stayton 1 N. M. Clifford 1 Geo. W. Thorburn, City Clerk ################## • Moved by Alderman Fitts that W. S. Ellis be permitted to install a gasoline filling station at 1922, Tenth Street, on his own property under the usual conditions to-wit:- That the said W. S. Ellis, his successors and assigns legal representatives and administrators hold the City harmless from any damages that may arise from the installations and Operation of said gasoline filling station, and that same shall be installed according, to specifications and under the supervision of the City Engineer, and that said gasoline fill- ing station shall be removed at once whenever such a request is made by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas. Motion seconded by Alderman Reed, and carried. ################# Moved by Alderman Fitts that the City Attorney be instr- ucted to file an injunction restraining the Commissioners Court and all others interested from laying paving on Fort Worth Street.
