Wichita Falls,Texas,January 13th 1916.
On above date the Beard of Alderman met in regular session and
the following business was transacted to-wit:-
The following officers answered to roll call.
A.H.Britain Mayer.
J.F.Reed Alderman.
J.A.Rioholt
J.W.Bradley
M.J.Gardner
J.L.Loa.Jr. absent.
City Clerk W.A.MoCarty in attendance.
Public Safety
Comm report Alderman M.J.Gardner reported that the Public Safety Committee
of purchase had made their trip of investigation to Dallas with Fire Marshall
of Hook and J.L.MoClure and had examined the American La France Hoek & Ladder
Ladder. Truck and that they had found the truck satisfactory and that
they had purchased the same,Motion was made by J.W.Bradley and
was seconded by J.F.Reed that the report be recieved and approved,
motion carried.
Mayors report Mayor A.H.Britain reported that after recieving the report of the
of contract Public Safety Committee that he had executed the contract of purchase .
of purchase of of the American La France Hook and Ladder service truck for a day
Hook & Ladder. consideration of $5,500.00►$1,834.00"to be paid within ten days-s t&,
after delivery and acceptance of the car and two notes of , 33.00
each payable en February 1st 1917 and February 1st 1918 and motion ` 1
was made by J.W.Bradley and was seconded by J.A.Rioholt that the
report be reoieved and approved,motion carried.
Alderman Motion was made by J.A.Rioholt and was seconded by J.F.Reed that
Gardner to M.J.Gardner and Fire Marshall J.L.MaClure have the part of the
prepare Fire Fire Station that was used by the Fire Team remodeled for the
Station for Meek and Ladder Service Car,Motion parried.

No further business the Board of Alderman adjourned.
