Wen was made by J.F.Reed and was seconded by M.J.Gardner that
warrant be drawn in favor of City Attorney Menial Nutt for the
um of five dollars for the purpose of refunding a fa/PO fine to
Rey Smith as per agreement of Mr Nutt with said
Rey Smith and the Board of Alderman approve the action of City
ttofney Horace Nutt,motion parried.
No further business the Beard of Alderman recessed untill four P.Y.

to recess from the regular meeting of January 20 1916 and the

Mayor-Pretem J.F.Reed stated that this meeting was held for the
arpese of making a trip fir investigating the grounds that tho

agnolia Petroleum Company was contemplating en planing Gasolene
torage Tanks whioh was within the City Limits,after making tho
rip to 16th and Lamar Ave the Board of Alderman voted to not take
y action in the matter of granting the Magnolia Petroleum Co
omission for planing the tanks en the ground.

On above date the Park Board met Ah the Chamber of Commerce
Rooms,l0 A.M. with the following members presant.
Dr J.F.Reed.
B.G.Hill.
Mrs J.A.Kemp.
Mrs J.A.Richolt.
It was moved and seconded that Dr J.F.Reed be empowered to
purchase Sycamore trees at the best price and in quanity that
he saw fit,motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that the Park Board meet again tuesday
morning at 9 o-clock A.M. at the Riverside Cemetary,motion carried.
No further business the Park Board adjourned.
