On above date the Board of Alderman met in regular session and the following business was transacted to-wit:- The following officers answered to roll call. A.H.Britain Mayor. J.F.Reed Alderman. J.A.Richoltft J.W.Bradley " J.L.Lea.Jr. M.J.Gardner " City Clerk W.A.McCarty,City Atty Horace Nutt & City Marshall J.B.Nail in attendance. Motion was made by J.A.Richolt and was seconded by M.J.Gardner that the City Atty be authorized to take necessary steps to open the alley in Block 251 next to Broad Street between 12th & 13th 13th street,motion carried. 7j 9 Motion was made by J.L.Lea.Jr.and was seconded by J.W.Bradley �-C• that the Retail Merchants Association be granted authority to �P � � J/ have the Fire Whistle blown at 8 oclock March 9th for the opening of the Style Show,motion carried. Motion was made by J.F.Reed and was seconded by M.J.Gardner that the forms as were drawn by A.E.Myles for a Police Register and Warrant Beek be adopted,motion carried. �cm"K Motion was made by J.W.Bradley and was seconded by J.A.Richolt that Mayor A.H.Britain be authorized to get quotation on bids for the printing of the forms,motion carried. Motion was made by M.J.Gardner and was seconded by J.L.Lea.Jr. that a warrant be issued to the Texas Company for $61.12 for asphalt used on the wood block pavement and to be drawn out of the Street Fund,motion carried.
