Min 03/09/1916 e":: ji,!) No 20. Wichita Falls,Texas,March 9th 1916. On above date the Board of Alderman met in regular session and the following buiiness was transacted to-wit:- The following officers answered to roll call. A.H.Britain M Jor. J.F.Reed Alderman. J.A.Richolt " J.W.Bradley J.L.Lea.Jr. "" M.J.Gardner " City Clerk W.a.McCarty,City Atty Horace Nutt,City Engineer L.C.Hinckley and City Marshall J.B.Nail in attendance. The minutes of the last regular meeting was read and approved. Mr A.zundlowitz came before the Board of Alderman in regards tbAhe City setting aside about three acres of land adjoining the River- Side Cemetary for the purpose of a Jewish 6emetary,the matter was refered to the Park Board which would meet on the following Wednesday.March the 15th. i Motion was made by J.F.Reed and was seconded by M.J.Gardner that the Salvation Army of Wichita Falls Texas be granted the authority to use i- of 7th street and the alley between the block No 150 adjoining the construction of the Salvation :limy Hall under the usual 3zpervieion whereby the Salvador_ Army agrees to hold the City hramless from any and all damages caused from the storeing of material on said street and alley,motion carried. Motion was made by J.W.Bradley and was seconded by M.J.Gardner that the Utility Committee be authorized to have the sidewalk in front of lot No 11 block No 4 Floral Heights Addition raised in order to slope it in connection with lot No 10 and to remove the three culverts at 14th street and one at Travis,l4th & Austin Streets and to slope the sidewalk on the south side of 10th street at the alley between Bluff & Broad street,motion carried. No further business the Board of Alderman adjourned. Read and approved this the 16th dty of March 1916. Mayor. City Clerk.
