Therefore the council in regular session declared the following officers duly and legally elected to serve the City of Wichita Falls Texas for the ensueing term of two years as set forth herein, towit:- A H Britain having received the highest vote cast fax at said election for Mayor is entitled to hold said office for tic° years and until his successor is duly elected and qualified. M J Gardner and J A Richolt having received the highest dotes cast for Aldermen at said election are entitlA to to held said offices for two years ard;until their successors are elected and qualified. Horace Nutt having ingtos received the highest votes cast at said election for Wity Arty is entitled to hold said office for a term of two years or until hie successor is elected and qualified. E S Whitelaw having received the highest votes east in said election for the office of City rheaorder is entitled to hold said office for a term of two years or until hie successor is elected and qualified. V G Skeen having received the highest number of votes in said election for the office of City Clerk is entitidd to hold said office for a term of two years or until his successor is elected , and qualified. • • A J Humphris having received the ,highest vote cast in said election for nu the office of City !arshall is entitled tp hold said office for a term of two years or until his successor is elected and qualified. ELLIOTT On motion if Dr Revd seconded by J V Bradley a bill for $154.58 BILL FOR R in favor of Robt Elliott for plumbing work at the General Hdspitil HOSPITAL was allowed and ordered paid, a like amount having been paid on PLUMBING said bill by the County. ELLIOTT A bill for '64.00 in favor of Robt Elliott far plumbing weak BILL FOR done in Bare yoddh Officers office together with aebill for PURE FOOD $1.)0 for repairs on basin, was ordered paid by Dr Reed. OFF. PLUMB IMG. A voucher for 4036.06 from Wichita County was truned star to the WICHITA o�city _Cle'k.by the Mayor for deposit with the City Treasurer, CO PAYS he same being amount due the city Sy the county account of BAL ON General Hospital as per Auditor Myles report. HOSPITAL Mayor ,Bribain reported the sale of the old fire wagon to the SALE OLD ! Clovis N M fire department for the sum of $300.00. and on FIRE WAGON motion of Dr Reed seconded by J L Lea Jr sale was approved !lotion carried. REFUND BACK TREES Motion was made by Dr Reed and seconded by J A Richolt that Back LOTS &l - Taxes for the year of 1895 on east hilt of Lets 9 and 10 in Block BLOCK 2191 921O No 219 be refund as follows, R E Huff $3.00 and E M Harris ?5.26. � Motion carried. BOARD OF HLT COMPOSED OF Motion was madeoby J W Bradley, seconded by J A Rioholt that the SEVEN MEMBERS] Beard of Health be composed of seven members, to be named by the Mayor. Motion carried. RESOLUTION ONE DEATH OF MRS A committee composed of Dr Reed, J W Bardley and Mayor Britain DARWIN. was appointed to draft resolutions on the death of Mrs E L Darwin recently with the Pure Food Inspection Department of the State of Texas.
